What do the risk levels mean?: High means a greater than 3.3% chance of flooding each year. Medium means 1% to 3.3%. Low means 0.1% to 1%. Very low means less than 0.1%.
Does this include surface water flooding?: No. This checks flooding from rivers and the sea. Surface water risk is on the government's long-term flood risk service.
Which areas are covered?: England. Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland publish flood risk through their own agencies.
